Payment and Refund Policies

1. General provisions

These Payment and Refund Policy govern the terms and conditions of booking, payment, cancellation and refund for accommodation at Ivan Apartments.
By confirming the reservation, the guest confirms that he/she is familiar with these policies and that he/she fully accepts them.

2. Reservation confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed after:

  • Agreement on the date of stay
  • Payment of the deposit or other agreed amount
  • The appointment is not reserved until payment is received.
  • Ivan Apartments reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed reservations without prior notice.

3. Payment method

Payment is made according to pre-agreed terms:

  • by advance payment
  • by bank transfer
  • by cash payment upon arrival or other agreed method

The remaining amount of the stay is settled at the latest upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Advance payment

To confirm the reservation, the guest is obliged to pay an advance payment in the amount of 30% of the total price of the stay, unless otherwise agreed.

The advance payment serves as a guarantee of the guest’s arrival and reservation of the accommodation appointment.

5. Cancellation of reservation

In case of cancellation of the reservation by the guest, the following rules apply:

  • if the guest cancels the reservation at least 30 days before the arrival date, the advance payment is returned
  • if the guest cancels the reservation less than 30 days before arrival, the advance payment is not returned

The booked appointment can then be offered to other guests.

6. Substitute guests

In the event that the guest cannot arrive at the reserved time, he/she can find replacement guests who will use the reserved accommodation under the same conditions, with prior notification to the landlord.

7. No-show

If the guest does not arrive on the agreed arrival date and does not notify the lessor of the cancellation:

  • the reservation is considered used
  • the advance payment is retained
  • accommodation can be offered to other guests

8. Early departure

In case of early departure:

  • the full amount of the booked stay will be charged
  • no refunds are possible

9. Force majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the landlord (natural disasters, travel bans, technical failures, security reasons, etc.), Ivan Apartments may offer:

  • change of stay dates or
  • another alternative solution according to possibilities

10. Right of cancellation by the lessor

Ivan Apartments reserve the right to cancel the reservation in case of:

  • non-compliance with the agreed conditions
  • provision of incorrect information by the guest
  • circumstances that prevent the provision of the service

In this case, the guest has the right to a refund of the amount paid, without additional fees.

11. Complaints

The guest is obliged to report any complaints immediately during the stay, in order to enable timely resolution.
Subsequent complaints after the end of the stay will not be taken into account.

12. Refund

Refunds are only possible in cases where Ivan Apartments are unable to provide the confirmed accommodation service.

In all other cases, refunds are not provided.

13. Entry into force

These Payment and Refund Policies come into effect on 01.02.2026 and are valid for all users of the Ivan Apartments website from the moment of its publication.
